Mr.Kikko

Francesco Cianella aka Mr Kikko was born in Rome, Italy in 1975. He’s one of the most well known techno DJ/Producer in Rome.
Being just 13 years old, he started his djing career. Interested in drums and piano, he started to research about creation and development of music thru computers and samplers. In 1991, inspired by the sounds of Detroit, he made his very first Dj set.
As the years were going thru, Francesco was gaining experience, and became a key player in the italian scene. His Dj sets are an harmonic blend between different styles rounded by a flawless mixing technique. In Italy, he played in almost every important club around.
On that period, he shared the booth with Simona Faraone and Mauro Tannino, Paolo Zerla, Lory D, Claudio Pascucci, Brando Lupi, D’Arcangelo, Marco Lenzi, Giancarlino, Donato Dozzy, Claudio Fabrianesi, Gabriele Fasano, Francesco Farfa amongst others and international jocks like Dave Seaman, Lee Burridge, Pig & Dan, Sven Vath, Azzido da Bass and Someone Else.
In 2003, after a period passed in Paris, where He has played for plenty of artists, as well as Kit Kat, the Locomotives, and the Floque: (social center of three floors under the Tower Eiffel), after he made his first Asian tour, djing in important clubs and fullmoon in Thailand. In 2005, after having a special summer in Ibiza, where many remember him for it’s interminable set durations, as much as 10 hours, he developed the stunning Sound’s Factory Records Shop in Rome, near the Vatican City and also participating on many electro techno music festival and afterhour in Italy.
For 2010, Francesco is developing a new format in his live shows combining both Vinyl and a Live Set with his laptop, adding an unique dynamic to his sets, definitely settling his name down on the electronic scene.
Now his main activity is basically taking care for his label Sound’s Factory Ltd and Full Flava Records of Mr Flavour.
